Himalayan Salt – 1lb

Himalayan salt has a very high nutritional value. Unlike regular table salt, Himalayan salt contains trace amounts of  84 essential minerals such as magnesium, potassium, and calcium. These minerals are important for maintaining proper health and can be difficult to obtain in a survival situation.

Himalayan salt is a natural source of electrolytes, which are important for maintaining proper hydration levels. In an emergency situation where access to clean water may be limited, consuming foods that are high in electrolytes can help to prevent dehydration and other related health issues.

Since our Himalayan salt does not contain any added chemicals, it does not have an expiration date. Table salt, however, contains additives and chemicals that limit its’ shelf life to 5 years or less.

Ships in a 1lb zipper mylar pouch. We do not use Oxygen absorbers in this product since they are not recommended or necessary to preserve salt.
